my point wasnt to insult the fans but to point out that they sometimes seem to be down on themselves or each other for not looking the part or having enough cash to pay the insane ticket prices.

how many times have you heard"cant afford it, stay home" on a message board when someone complains about the ticket prices.thats what is truly insulting.

if you have time look at the pollstar.com tours of the decade,the dave matthews band was the top grossing act in the U,S from 2000 -2009,the stones were 5th.the amount of shows they played and the number of fans is about 3x what the stones did.a post on the comment board from one person mentioned seeing the band several times in the front rows for $55 dollars through their fanclub.

i dont think dave matthews hires pretty girls to stand in for his fans when he films a show either.
