I like the first album a lot, some great rockers on there and they do a couple of pretty good slow numbers too, ny copy has a live dvd as a second disc.
I'm pretty sure I have another live DVD somewhere, I think I got it in a sale possibly ?.
The second album I have to agree with others on here is very disapointing and I don't think I have played it since the the first hearing.
Don't know anything of the third album so can't make a judgement

jet is a good australian but wolfmother is a better one

Wolfmother was a HUGE disappoint to me.......loved that first single they had, but the rest of the first album was an utter letdown. So glad a friend of mine burned me a copy and I didn't waste money on it.......

Now what about Starsailor? Just heard them for the first time on Serve3, the Hard Rock Cafe album doing a cover of a Graham Nash song, and they sound like something I could get into. Loathe the Charlatans song on there and am reminded of how much I hated them opening for the Stones.....

Totally agree. I went out and got that Wolfmother CD because I dug that song, and the whole album is a major letdown.
Starsailor, while they have the wimpiest name ever, are pretty good. I like the Phil Spector [produced album.

I would've had a small wager that Powderfinger opened for the Stones on the first Licks show in Melbourne. But like I said, a small wager.

I happily stand corrected. Now I just need to figure out when and where I saw Powderfinger.

I like the first album of the Australian Airborne a lot. Will see them in A'dam this week. They sound a lot like AC/DC. First album of Wolfmother is very good I think.

That's it !
I 've downloaded Get Born.

Black Crowes, some Angus Young guitar ,energetic sound.

"Are You Gonna Be My Girl" is quite charismatic I think.

To name just a couple of my faves ,"Cold Hard Bitch" "Rollover Dj", "Get What You Need" .

I am a Frenchie ,as Mick affectionately called them in the Old Grey Whistle Test in 1977 .
