Such a sweet single - a dirty blues band tries to sound a respectable pop band. One can almost hear how their hands were freezing... Jagger's lollipop voice, the steady beat don't even try to groove...Dixon's "I Want To Be Loved" sounds more like Disney than Chess.
But man, we are still here talking about here a milestone of modern music! It all started from there... Hats off, everybody!!!!
This anniversary gives a good reason to live again those years... so I am hungry now for having the next release... that will be in autumn...
Just seing the label credit reminded me- what happened to Imapct Sound? Who were the owners? Did it die with the 1965 Klein re-negotiated record deal? Did Eric Easton have a part ownership?
