Is it just my imagination or did I once read on here that Andy Johns was working against a tight deadline and mixed Exile on Main Street in one straight stretch of 24 powdery hours? Is that how it happened? Amazing achievement, if this is true and I didn't just imagine it.
Mick stated, I believe in the 1995 Rolling Stone interview/cover story, that HE finished the mixing of Exile because it was taking so long.
That, however, does not say how long it took or that he didn't have help etc... I would think, considering the amount of songs - there must have been more I would think - probably at the very least a month. But I do not know.
