"Your have the musical brains and awareness of an ox"

Coming from a guy who argued that Macca is superior to lennon but doesn't actually own any of their records?

Who's the one lacking brain?

As an MT fan (I guessed you might be) you might like to know there is a double-paged article on 'The genius of Mick Taylor' in April's edition of Vintage guitar magazine. (I've seen a copy in Borders, London - not sure if it's widely available elsewhere).

Awful music. Never has Mick Taylor's talent been abused more.

I love a lot of progressive music. But this was about the worst crap I've heard/seen in a very long time. Indeed, Taylor's talents are pretty wasted on this.

It seemed like he had an urge to play more sophisticated or advanced music after the Stones, but eventually most of it sounded very lame or subdued compared to his deep soaring rock 'n' roll with the Stones.

Anyway, thanks for posting the video. It was interesting if only for the realization how bad this stuff can sound. smiling smiley

MT participation has nothing to do with my remark (even that you dont understand I presume);the fact that you cannot understand the artistic and musical value of TBells in the 70-tees convinces me once more that
you got the musical brains and awarenes of an ox.

What has the posession of anyone's record to do with being familiar with his music?

You even got less musical brains and awarenes than an ox I'am afraid.

If I remember me ol mucker, you stated that you were an expert on the fab two's musical output from hearing their music whilst attending 'parties'.

Not the greatest basis for then making an argument that all of lennons solo out put was pop-tosh compared to McCartneys! I think you used the term 'poppy' when describing Imagine.....

Now who's the Ox???

John Entwistle wasn't half bad!
are you saying, MTfan, that people who don't like progressive music/don't agree with your views have the musical brain of a John Entwistle?
you go up in my estimation!
