when I bought this when it was first released I thought it was the best thing since sliced bread, well the best thing since the latest Floyd album anyway.

just goes to show how wrong you can be.

I used to work in a jewellers many moons ago and this was on rotation ALL day.

As an MT fan (I guessed you might be) you might like to know there is a double-paged article on 'The genius of Mick Taylor' in April's edition of Vintage guitar magazine. (I've seen a copy in Borders, London - not sure if it's widely available elsewhere).

I love a lot of progressive music. But this was about the worst crap I've heard/seen in a very long time. Indeed, Taylor's talents are pretty wasted on this.

It seemed like he had an urge to play more sophisticated or advanced music after the Stones, but eventually most of it sounded very lame or subdued compared to his deep soaring rock 'n' roll with the Stones.

Anyway, thanks for posting the video. It was interesting if only for the realization how bad this stuff can sound.
