Stewed and Keefed

Here is a rare instrumental composition by the Stones, entitled Stewed and Keefed.

I ran across this instrumental by accident when searching for songs by the Stones. I thought the only purely instrumental piece they had recorded was 2120 South Michigan Avenue, which is on the 12X5 CD. Does anyone know anything about this R and B music. Are there any other instrumentals by the Stones out there that have appeared on vinyl or CD?

sure! especially if you count unfinished stuff, there are miles of them on bootlegs all down the decades.
Title 15 from the Satanic sessions springs immediately to mind, and Los Trios Guitaros from 77.
have fun unearthing them

Of the official ones, I think "Stoned" and "Now I've Got The Wittness" should be mentioned.

Thanks for the information. I would like to hear an instrumental on the new CD. I would hope it would be a bit like Down in a Hole. The Stones need to experiment a bit more, in my opinion.

This is on tons of bootlegs an absolute gem of a song. These early blues songs are amazing!
