Remember we had this thread ...

Led Zeppelin
The Clash
Johnny Cash
and I´m not sure,I think I forgot
Bob Marley
last time.

I never really had the chance to see Jimi Hendrix perform,as I was a little kid when he died.

The Beatles. Thanks, however, to "The Cast Of Beatlemania", and my own capacity for suspended disbelief, the part of my brain that can't tell the difference contains the memory of having seen them. Weird, huh?

Buddy Holly
Hank Williams
Jimi Hendrix
The Beatles
Otis Redding

The Rolling Stones with Brian Jones. That would have been a gas.

It's so very lonely, you're 2,000 Light Years from home

Not much point talking about artists I'd no chance of seeing, such as Elvis, Hendrix, etc.

The ones I could have seen, regret that I didnt and now wont ever get the chance to:

Frank Sinatra
Johnny Cash (was offered tickets for the Highwaymen gig, and passed on it)
James Brown
Bob Marley & The Wailers

I could add The Clash, although I did see the 'Mk II' version (minus Mick Jones) on their last UK tour in '84.

That probably was around the Vienna gig as well - I thought about getting tickets, but passed for some reason. Soon after he died...

I saw John Denver a couple of times; he put on a great show. He was one of my faves for many years.

Though I saw most of the great bands from the '60's live, there were a few I just never got to see:

The Who
The Doors (although I went to one of their concerts but Jim Morrison was "ill" and so they didn't perform)
Elvis
Allman Brothers
