Any truth in the rumour that Charlie Watts is to appear in Coronation Street as Danny Baldwin's uncle?

Apparently, Charlie was spotted in Manchester 3 years ago, not ten miles from Granada Studios, and is alleged to have seen one or two episodes during the past 40 years. A 'friend' of Charlie's suggests that he would appear at the Christmas shindig in the Rovers. The 'friend' was unable to confirm if he would be playing the drums.

Episodes are filmed 4-6 weeks in advance and something like that doesn't escape the tabloid press/showbiz columns.

...a nice idea, though.

maybe Lisa could get a role, helping out in Roy's Rolls.

That would be great. Corrie is my favourite soap. Eastenf=ders lost it a long time ago imo.

I'd like to state here that everytime you watch a soap (any soap) should be regarded as 'taking a (long) break from the Rolling Stones'.
