No way, not with all the VIPs who will be there. Myself, I just lost an auction on Ebay for a Beacon ticket, so I am back to waiting for the DVD. Being a fan of this band sure is stressful sometimes, I'll say that.
Man, that sucks, especially for all who travelled long distances just for the show (thinking of Beast & Mr. Jimmy specifically, but there are many others).
They must have been doing some serious rehersing to tweak his throat since they haven't played in about a week anyhow.

I wonder if there's any chance of them rescheduling it after Honolulu. I looked at the venue website and they have no events listed after November 19th until a boxing match on December 2nd. It will be a difficult time, as the Honolulu show begins the Thanksgiving weekend, but maybe they could reschedule it for somewhere like the 28th-30th to get past that weekend and still allow the band and crew to relax a little bit in Hawaii.
The only open dates they have prior to Honolulu are on November 16th and 20th. I would think the 20th is completely out of the question, for them to fly from Los Angeles after their show on the 18th to the East Coast, then to have to fly from there to hwaii for a show on the 22nd. They play in Nampa, Idaho on the 14th, so conceivably they could fly after that show to Atlantic City, do the show on the 16th, and then fly to L.A. for the show on the 18th, but that also seems a little unrealistic.
Brilliant! Just picked up my 485 dollar ticket and checked into an even more expencive hotel... And flew in from Norway. That man's gotta wear a scarf - always - from now on!
Let's hope that Mick's learned something from the last instance of sorethroatitis and he's resting up for with Sunday in his sights.
Couldn't they do an all-Keith set tonight, with free JD & OJ for everyone over 21? Maybe they could put that idea in their back pocket for the next time?
That'd be something . . .

Camper88, that would be a very cool show, but since tour after tour "95% of the audience are casual fans who have never seen the Stones before", they would just be dumbfounded. Beer runs and bathroom breaks would occur during every song in the show. I wonder on how many songs Keith would play guitar?

He could bring Waddy or someone else on as a guest for a couple of songs when Keith's just singing, and I'd probably add a Chuck Berry styled rock'n'riff jam somewhere in the middle.
Nov. 17 seems to be the date on the street - I guess they'd be willing to do back-to-back-cross-country in a pinch - and this seems like a bottom pincher....
I think it is all the meet and greets that are required by the corporate sponsors that are making Sir Mick sick -- too much shaking hands and gladhanding hugging interaction with the germ-carrying rabble and contest-winning commoners LOL

So, you're saying a GREAT band like the Rolling Stones can only attract a 5% loyalty crowd going to shows??? I don't buy that.
I hear that argument/discussion a lot when talking about playing different/non war horse songs.
I know his list was made in gest, but, just saying, I would think the Stones have at least a 50% loyalty crowd, probably closer to 65%, is my guess.

Not a f***ing prayer. Unless they move the Dodger Stadium show. or cancel it if its selling slowly...

Please take note that I used quotations when stating my percentage. This was to mock the beliefs of some people on this site who think that the Stones primarily draw very casual fans to shows in huge numbers. It would be pretty pethetic that a band like the Stones could pull people in to see them once, put on a fantastic show for the audience, yet not be able to bring those same people back to see them on the subsequent tours. Much more marginal bands have a huge percentage of people returning to see them again, yet the belief of many is that the Stones don't also have this.

I saw pairs at Row 20 on the floor today on TMaster. So if that's any indication . . .

Maybe they (and the wonderful fan friendly Mr Cohl) should think seriously about the obvious result of playing stadium shows in freezing stadiums in October
Not to mention scheduling a show two days before two high profile shows thats being filmed whilst spending a few days before it rehearsing for said 'high profile' shows
recipe for disaster
Sorry for you and everyone else who have come a long way to be disappointed

I didn't question the Stones rehearsing on Wednesday night, but when I read that they rehearsed again last night with Mick apparently singing, I questioned how smart this was. Seems that it wasn't a wise move, if indeed it was him and not Bernard singing last night.
