Wembley Sept 8 73 Matinee show - Mick Taylor in glorious form. Recorded the show too.

Earls Court 76 - great party atmosphere with The Meters supporting and circus acts entertaining inside the hall. Went to 5 of the 6 nights.

Knebworth 76 - Legendary gig and even more legendary setlist.

Brixton 95- Amazing setlist and nearest I'd ever been to the band until...

Shepherds Bush 99 - Another incredible setlist and stood 20 feet from Keith

Madison Sq Garden 2005 - Great to see The Stones in their 2nd home city and fantastic to hear Honky Tonk Women there.

DaveG, did you see the afternoon or evening show? Also, have you heard any boots from the show you saw & how does the boot compare to your memory of the show?

And how about your memories of the Philly & MSG shows, schillid and BeelyBoy?

Being too young to have gone to any myself, I am always happy to hear fan stories from anyone about the shows from the Mick Taylor Years.

Greetings from the Jersey Shore.

Roseland Ballroom, NY 2002 - They did a great soul-based show.

Tucson 1978 - Band was on fire. Linda Ronstadt came on in hot pants to do Tumbling Dice.

LA Forum 1975 - Great because it was my first Stones show. Unfortunately I never got to see them live during the Taylor era.

I uploaded this show here [www.iorr.org] if you fancy listening again.Hot show!

the best show is always the one where none of your friends have been. Good to brag:"Man, that was some show, awesome!"

Musically without a doubt De Kuip 1982. But I was a frustrated 15 year old in the back of the stadium, so I have to go with Vredenburg 2003. I went by bike... Instead of visiting the Vredenburg market to get my groceries for the weekend, I went to see the Stones.

misterfrias, I went to the first show. I had stayed in line all night to get the tickets a couple of weeks earlier. I bought 16 tickets for my friends and myself.

I have a boot of that show, called LA Queenie. It is not a good recording but it does contain all the elements I clearly remember from the show, like Mick saying "I got a crick in my neck" after singing Prodigal Son. Also, the problems with Mick's harmonica microphone at the beginning of Midnight Rambler, so he ditched it and used a regular mic.

It was a mind-blowing show that has only gotten better through the yearssmiling smiley We all wondered what Mick taylor would add to the band, and he was amazing. That show was early in the tour, and when I listen to Ya Yas, I can hear just how much they improved as the tour went on.

Seattle 1975 was brilliant

Seattle #1 81 was pedestrian. But the friend I went with was mezmerized.

I just missed them in NYC 1972. I was thirteen, living in Hicksville & no way were my parents gonna let me go in Manhattan to see a bunch of drug addicts.

Music- '02 Gund Arena, Cleveland OH-The boys were totally on fire and in the zone!

Dangerous One-12/19/81 Hampton Coliseum, Hampton VA (My first Stones show-Wish I hadn't gotten so completely wasted and could remember it better; hell this show could probably fit into all 4 of the categories).

Biggest Party-'05 Moncton Magnetic Field, NB Canada-85,000 people-On Stage boxes. great high energy show, great to see a younger crowd at a Stones show.

Fun-8/1/94-RFK Stadium, Washington DC-Kick off date of the Voodoo Lounge tour +27 song setlist.

Of course, I would have loved to have been able to have seen the Stones original 60's lineup with Brian Jones!!

Several of the 1989 shows I really enjoyed. Especially early dates in Washington, D.C.

Of the more recent tours I would have to say my favorite show would be MSG in Sept. of 2002. Ronnie was in fine form as was the rest of the band.

Baltimore 2006. When Keith charged out sliding on his knees for the opening chords of JJF I knew we were in for it. The sound was friggin perfect. They even used the B stage right by us. It was strictly bump and grind in the second tier. Everybody was super loose and super psyched.

Opening night No Security tour in Oakland easily the best. Next the Oakland arena show during the Licks tour after 2 outdoor shows in San Francisco.
