Taylor's solo starts at 4.00 and ends at 6.20 might be his longest extended live solo

Also listen to one of the greatest octave riffs played by taylor over the chorus.

Maybe the people at Hot Stuff haven't heard it.

Those riffs are very nicely done. Adds a lot to the song.

If that is the version on Swingin' pig Philadelphia special II, it runs fast.

Ok OpenG!!!

I'll still take my Wash DC version over that Philly version anyday!!!
I am getting into the Philly version of: Gimme Shelter though, that one is growing on me, about to get right there with the Wembley 1973 version!!!

Hey check this guy out (although he "out there")!!

Go to Youtube, search on a title called: Nottingham Lace (Buckethead) in Boston
watch the whole video and let me know what you think of this guy's playing?
He's fast and likes to show off some, but part's of this are pretty good IMO

Watch it and let me know

The GS from that show (Philly 7/21, 1st) is indeed a classic. I think Taylor's 9/8/73, 1st, YCAGWYW solo is longer and is my bet for his longest on stage.
