As actors go, I thought both of them were commendable performers in the movie.

They are both great.........but I always hate this kind of movies......rather see a good documentation of the orginal artist

I understand, Nicos, but these two actors proved to be exceptions to the rule. It is a shame, though, that Joaquin subsequently flaked out and decided to become, of all things, a rapper. I honestly think that the attention he received from "Walk the Line" flipped him out, so he decided to pull back and reinvent himself.
Until he regains his sanity, this movie will be the high point of his career.
