Even though the Final has yet to be played, and after a few (or a lot) boring matches, what's in your opinion the best couple of matches played so far...

Match: France-Brasil Best player: None. (Maybe Zizou because he's about to retire).

I don't think Ronaldo was the most dissapointing player. At least he scored some good goals and he was maybe the best brazilian the day the lost against France. The most dissapointing performance was Ronaldinho's, having in mind the expectations there were about him.
Most "under-expectations-performance" team: Spain, as always. BUT you english supporters, like it or not, should begin to think your team is taking (or even more accurate: HAS taken) our own path in underachivement...
Trying and not playing well is something different then not working at all. Did you see Ronaldo walk around the pitch in the first matches? That was embarassing for such a great player.
By the way: Figo was a dissapointment as well. I thought he would show the world one final time why he is considered to be of the best players of the last decade. No such thing. Just acting and diving.
About Ronaldo: do you remember the great Romario? In a certain way, Ronaldo's way of playing is quite similar: he's not a player who runs after the opposite players, but waits for his goal chance.
Figo wasn't the best Figo in the decade, but he wasn't so dissapointing, at least for me. Maybe I didn't expect so much from him.
Off course I remember Romario (still playing, trying to make his 1000 goals in the American competition), but he was never a very active player. Always lazy. Ronaldo used to make at least an active impression.
