Keith is an old gaelic name, it means "wood", as for forest.

So what you say is, that Keith is also inside Wood. Wow Keith lives inside Ronnie. So Keith Richards and Ron Wood is the same two people.

Is Ronnie's full name Ronald?

It seems obvious but I do know some people who have been named (just) Ron on their birth certificate.

"Wood- d w e l l e r" or "wind" maybe other etymological alternatives.
From the link above ya could also download some corny ringtones

In Scottish Gaelic the name is Ce, where the e has grave accent and is pronounced long and open, (as in French). (The C has a hard sound, like an English K).

So, properly pronounced, it's something like 'Kay' in English. I'm not sure if this is the same in Welsh. Anyone? But it's certainly an anglicised form of a native British name. (The Welsh and Cornish and the Bretons in France are the last of the native British Celts).

Perhaps there is a Breton name which is similar?

('Richards' is a Norman name.)

Richard/s ought to have auld Gothic roots.

Keith is fairly common in Sweden too,
most likely borrowed from Gaelic,
here pronounced as [Kae: i: tt].

Jumping Kent:

He's from Dartford, which I believe is in Kent. I'm afraid that might be as good as it gets for you.

Keith is his first name. His last name seems to give him problems - Richard or Richards.

Since Dick is short for Richard (and someone said Keith meant wood), should he be called "Wooden Dick"?
