I'm only going to see the show once, in Saitama, Japan next year. So, I joined the fan club ($40) and bought two fan club tickets (about $125 each) when they went on sale this morning at 10:00 a.m. sharp. Just checked - THIRD ROW!!! These tickets are only will call, so no scalping.

I hope they play all of the same old crap that I know.

KISS has released their first album (Sonic Boom) with new music in 11 years and they're touring the US at the moment. They play only one song of the current album, they tried a second one during the tour but dropped it after 2-3 shows. Aside of this one new song they are playing more or less the same songs they are playing since their Reunion tour in 1996.

99.3 % of the people at the show...it's their first show of the tour. They are satisfied. If you follow the band from show to show knowing that they will play the same set everynight you are supporting the shows set.

ac/dc has had problems changing setlists basically since bon died. most of the tours for the last 20 years have the same setlist the entire tour.

anyways kiss will be changing the setlist soon. right now they are on a tour to celebrate the alive album and therefore play every tune on that album plus a few select hits

EXACTLY the same prop I saw Angus use 14 years ago.
Kiss are losers

Back in the 80's I would see them 2 to 3 times per tour, now I'm fine with just once. I look at it this way, with their setlist not changing, I save some money. (But I have to admit, I wish it were the other way around.)

Let me know when they play all of High Voltage,or anything off of Powerage. Then I'll go to another show.

"It's just some friends of mine and they're busting down the door"

Re: OT: AC/DC Fans Are Revolting

they played some rare tunes lately like "whats next to the moon"

The thing about the Stones is that they can modify their setlist and play "rare" tracks like Heartbreaker, Waiting on a Friend, She's So Cold, She Was Hot, Ain't too Proud to Beg, Undercover, etc., and everyone will know those tracks because they were hits. The Stones have an amazing catalogue.

i doubt most casual fans know "she was hot" or "undercover" and since "ain't too proud to beg" is a cover of a hit song of course most people will know it

Add Shoot to Thrill and the concert with the Powerage set would be almost perfect

It's like me complaining that I went to see the movie "E.T." twenty seven times in 12 countries.

AC/DC are generally nice guys, but not the brightest bulbs in the drawer.

Last European RS tour was terrible, greatest hits set list plus SOL from BB, and Keith Richards looking very sick or old or something worse. Now keith is looking healthy, but for that time the shows were very very poor.
Kiss has a very nice new album, so they should play, at least, 4-5 new songs (as RS could in the europena 20006 tour)

I saw the Stones in Vienna in 2006 and they played 5 songs from a BB. Streets of love, This place is empty, Rain fall down, Rough justice & Oh no not you again.

I'm an AC/DC diehard and have travelled to see em 9 times on the tour already. They did add Shot Down In Flames and Dog Eat Dog to the setlist after the first US run through, so that was something

I'd LOVE em to try out other songs, but the one thing that makes me think maybe they shouldnt is the Stones

The AC/DC set is a steamroller from the word go, tight as a knats chuff and hard on the rock n roll. If they kept switching songs round i fear it'd be like the last few Stones tours where (although welcome), the addition of many different songs has just left the set feeling flat and embarassing at times due to them not being able to pull em off

Its a tough call, but i'd say sticking with what sounds best is the way to go
