Artichoke - the best new pizza place in my town - NYC.keith goes there a lot

Okay, we're scraping the bottom of the topics barrel, but I'll play along. Keith likes burgers, steaks and shepherd's pie, lots of shepherd's pie. He likes HP Sauce (as we know) and he tends to eat small portions, often, rather than three square meals a day.

Mick eats a whole lot and especially likes fish.

It was rediculas in size. He loved the place they have a few 60"

flat screens and they played the BTB Tour for him. I think he had

Did anyone ever consider there's apossibility Keith never visited the Pizza joints the proud owners claim he went to?
I'm asking because even where I live, there's this carpet dealer who's claimed - in several interviews - that Mick and Keith are his friends - and that they've bought carpets in his shop. That they've visited his shop several times. None of it is true.
I suppose Keith never takes the time or trouble to go out and deny in public, that he's visited the pizza joints, or made comments about the pizzas... He's got more interresting stuff to do, with the tour comming up and everything.

As a New Yorker who has travelled the world, I realized a long time ago that pizza in NY is way overrated, especially all the endless Rays that really serve cheese bombs, rubber pancakes if you will. Ya like tomato sauce, you'll have to do a swan dive thru the cheese to find the tiny portion.
I also know there have been some newer gourmet places, and some serve decent pizza, but nothing above what you can get in many other cities.
For me the very best is in Naples....

You left NY on a very good note (MSG) HEILOOBASS, and yeah, I went to a place up on Capitol Hill that was recommended, and it was instantly forgettable.

Piecora's on the Hill is OK if you can wade your way through the spotty pierced-out goth brats who have bused in from the suburbs. Avoid Paglicacci at ALL costs! $30.00 for a large pizza! Puh!
