love it - one of the rare, unexpected highlights of the tour -the Stones finally stretching out a bit

theres a 2k5 version of 19NB?

by 2k5 version do you mean on this tour, or is it a studio production?

It is actually pretty boring. No reason to turn it into a by the numbers blues.

It's supposed to convey a sense of panic. It's supposed to be played fast.

really? LARS should be played faster then, too, I suppose...

Not thinking to clearly. What song is "LARS"?

Okay, I got it. Like A Rolling Stone, of course. I wouldn't say that song has any sense of panic. The singer isn't saying "Oh my God, this person is @#$%& up and there's nothing I can do to help him!" He's saying "Now you're really @#$%& and it serves you right!" It's more like a song about one person's triumph over another or one person gloating over another person's misfortune.

I love this song on the DOUBLE DOOR boot. That must be from 1997. It rocks bigtime, the way it should.

I love the 2005 version.

The Toronto club show version is on rs.com as a movie, however it is interrupted here and there with some commentary.

C'mon, Kent is asking for it. You're all discussing the stupid song but all he asks for is an MP3 file!

Thanx so much! I like it! I enjoy the contrast between the theme the song is all about and the sloppyness of this new arrangement... if kept in the setlist, this number could really be a highlight of the tour. It turned out to be a fun song, and from the bootleg you can clearly hear that the people in attendance are having a very good time, so it works!

Thanks again for sending!

And you have a problem with that? it sounded like they were drunk throughout the 70's (note: they were) and the sound was oh-so-fine.

Aah - just as I remember it! It chuggs along like a Creedence song with lots of guitar weaving and it even has the bass slide that was missing in the B2B version. Charlie's even swinging in it. I was lucky to be there that night and it was a highlight of that show.
