Ticketmaster UK and the new RS.COM membership

I missed out on Wembley 1 tickets, but manged to score decent A5 at presale for the second show. It seemed a bit wierd that here was no advantage to this show to having a remainig pre May 9 legacy membership. All membership tickets went on sale at the same time, including those that were sold the same time as a new membership. I bought two tickets and paid for still another RS.Com Membership. The site said expect e-mail in five business days on how to sign in for my new memebership. This has not happened. Anyone else with the same problem? Should I direct questions to ticketmaster or RS.COM?

I did the same and haven't received anything yet. I guess it depends if Ticketmaster have passed our details on to rs.com yet, as the website said would happen

Ticketmaster told me (not surprisingly) that it's rs.com who's being slow about it.

I fully expect that by the time I receive the fan club DVD I will have nothing to play it on because the techonology will be obsolete!

You bet! I emailed support@rollingstones.com on Saturday about it. Got an automatic reply saying they would respond within 3 business days. No word yet but there's still time. Tickmaster say they've passed the details on. I would try rs.com first.

This is totally unprofessional but is anyone really surprised?

I am sure last time all you had to do was put the ticket No in & give an email address.

No, this is different. You're refering to the free membership that comes with a ticket. (Not that we've got them yet anyway and 10 days before a show in August is a fat lot of good for virtual ticket...)

But this post refers to buying a ticket ahead of the public sale by purchasing the ticket with platinum membership. We've paid already for membership and haven't had it acknowledged or activated.

Hope that clears it up.

I purchased Wembley #2 tickets on Sunday 4th December

I got an e-mail this evening telling me I had four virtual ticket memberships

so, nine days...
