well, theyve soundchecked it a few times I believe so I guess its on the shortlist

I would imagine it will be the next ABB song to be premiered.

....probably some time around April

this should be a candidate for replacing Miss You moving to the B Stage...the women would go nuts as Mick edged towards them with his snarling lyrics!

If not there, then on the B Stage where RJ and ONNYA have been played...but hopefully those stay in the set elsewhere too.

People here seem to love or hate SSMC...personally I LOVE it!

I think Miss You will be played at every show that has that moving stage set-up

I guess with a gimmick like that, the length of the song is an issue as the stage will take a certain period of time to move completely, plus as theyre moving towards the crowd, so is audience participation

SSMC is a very enjoyable song indeed. I doubt they'll drop a warhorse to fit it in, however

SSMC is indeed quite a bit shorter in length than Miss You, at least the studio versions of each, but SSMC is a song that needs a longer treatment anyway.

Still, although Miss You is not a personal favorite, it's working well in that spot. But SSMC would be a natural as well, if not for the time constraint Gazza aptly points out.

ssmc is one of the strongest songs on the album. i hope it fits into the rotation

I don't understand why people like this song so much. The intro guitar sound is ok, but the song sounds to me like the J. Geils Band, not the Stones. Some witty lines, but very low effort otherwise.

This song is trash.

Mick sounds like a parrot learning its first words: She saw me coming, she saw me coming, she saw me coming, etc, etc.

Anyone could write this. A filler song indeed.

The song is great - stones back where I want them. Great guitars!

Ok. DO IT. I challenge you to write a song as good as this. Please try, and then send the song to me.

I bet you'll find out that it's harder than it seems.

A great tune, and I'm glad to hear they've rehearsed it. Hopefully then it'll get an airing and they'll be knocking it out on some of the European shows. Can't wait to hear it live.

She Saw Me Coming should be released as a single. And please put out the 2 DVD bonus tracks from the ABB sessions as B-sides. Thanks.

Those tunes are already on the way out. They're on the DVD of the ABB special edition coming soon.

I'm with JKF on this, you write the mother and I'll back you to produce and we'll see how easy it is for "anyone to write this"!

Great song BTW- And need I remind you that's Charlie Watts playing the drums, not some 22 year old Hootie-nonpant wearing imbecile? That IMO is where the true respect for this song (and of course many others-ONNYA included) from ABB should come from.

Point was that they had 8 years to write songs for ABB. SSMC sounds like the CD skips with Mick repeating the same lyric over and over again. Sort of like Sting singing Sendin out an SOS, sendin out an SOS, sendin out an SOS.

PS I'll send both of you my tune in 2013.

Listen to Splattered, he seems the only one who's got ears. "She saw me coming" is the ultimate dumbass song, lyrically as well as musically.

Looking forward to 2013 then. grinning smiley
Star, Star has that same repeating as SSMC. Who cares? It's great.

This has to be my least favorite song on the album. The guitar intro is cool but I can't get into the song. That being said I would rather them play this every night if it meant we get some more new songs or it would replace something like YGMR.

The worst song on ABB, I tried to let it grow on me but skip it every time it comes on.

For me it's the only truly great song on the album. I'd change my entire opinion of the current setlist if they included this one - preferably at one my upcoming shows.

At least we do know now why they don't change their truly great setlist...

Ok, I just have cut off the lines with "She saw me coming":

I didn't see a thing
I wasn't looking
I just walked into it
Sucker for it, I'm a sucker
Thought I was so cool
Boy did I get screwed

She had me dead to right
Her aim was stunning
I was lined up in her sites

She worked so fast
And she didn't mess around
It was all over
Before the sun goes down, before the sun goes down

She moved in for the kill
She served up on a grill
She busted in and she burglerized my soul
But now the bad news: she's out on a roll

She wrote the opening
The middle and the end
What a cast of characters
Of lovers and my friends

The plot was twisted
There was only one result
She saw me coming
But the going, going got too tough

Yeah, yes she did
Right on the grid, right on the grid
Oh what a stupid jerk
She was a piece of work

She must have tapped my phone
I felt like I was cloned
She had me on the ropes
Took me for a dope
Yes she did, yes she did

If this isn't mere bullshit, you can call me Captain @#$%&, ok?

This song and Back of My Hand are the 2 best on ABB.

I can't wait to hear this live. I have heard BOMH live 4 times now, it is a highlight every time.

I can't believe anyone who knows the Stones would not like SSMC! What the @#$%& do you want? More songs that sound like Streets of Love?
