The LESS interesting RS boots

One time, I bought in the seventies an LP featuring a picture in blue and white
of a 73 European Tour sequined-dressed Jagger flanked by a bodyguard

I think there was about 6 or 7 different studio versions of Angie on it plus 3 studio versions of Silver Train - or maybe the opposite - a real bore - such a bore I lost it in my attic.

Mick is the only straight guy I know who looks fetching in a jumpsuit.

S.T.P. the 1972 Dallas "rehersal" boot is a major snoozefest. I read somewhere (here I think) that it's maybe not even from Dallas and not really a rehersal. It's nice though that they put the fanclub Exile promo flexidisc on it.

A few years ago, some of you sent me a slew of CDs, but frankly, the worst of the lot is "The Lost Marquee Tapes" from 1971. Poor quality, IMHO. I DO appreciate the others, though.

The '68 Surrey Rehearsals is an unlistenable piece of crap.

A lot of the Some Girls/Emotional Rescue outtakes take a lot of patience. Half formed songs.

8 discs of Satanic Majesties backing tracks isnt exactly a day at the beach.

then there's the 40 minute audio tape, recorded under the counter, of Mick buying Stones bootlegs in a New York record store in 1975.

No - the WORST piece of crap is the 73 Rotterdam rehearsals. LOL< haha, the one that was recorded from outside. I think it is called "Can you hear the music".
Also very early on, the first recording of Paris 65 (the one that ends with "Crawdaddy") I ever got was on vinyl. And it was not speed corrected; plus still very badly recorded. It was just torture; I mean, I don't know what to call that noise, but I still would sit through it all the way. Nowadays thanfully I am able to choose from almost pristine quality discs.

theres 5 hours of Rotterdam '75 rehearsals.Much of it recorded from the street.

If anyone was daft enough to press a bootleg of it, they could have called it 'Can You Hear The Traffic?'

HaHa,almost fell of my chair....that ease a little "pain" of the likely Rhino loss.

Lord, I could use a little 'ease of pain'. I was burned badly last Monday; in a complete horrorshow of cirumstances. Never, ever haver I felt pain like that. Both my feet and ankles are burnt. They have sent Sister Morphine over several times and not even that helps. They are talking skin grafts now. What a monumental drag!
I guess that is why I have been posting so much in last couple of days; nothing to do...haha. And Stoned..outta mah mind, where' am I at.

Palace Revolution 2000, sorry to hear that.

I think you got the good approach - dig deep into some Stones silliness, it may ease your soul while the doctors heal your body.

All my sympathy.

Oooh, Palace Rev 2K, really sorry to read about your injury.

Agree with The Joker: a deep dive into Stones boots of all shapes, sizes and colors - it's got to help.

And while we're on the topic, how does 'London Roundhouse' rate for everyone? A very strange show. I personally like that boot a lot, but I've always wondered: is there a recording of the full show anywhere? The versions I've heard only had about 9-10 songs. Some versions have 'Prodigal Son,' some don't.

I had an outside Paradiso recording with drunks singing along & talking. At the lease the tracklisting was wrong including "It's All Over Now Baby Blue".
