yeah of course it's Short Fat Fanny: a brilliant rock & roll allusion to a song full of rock & roll allusions
(you *can* correct the title - go back to your first post, squish the "edit" button under it, make the change & save)

are the photos all Ethan Russell's?
the quotes are from Exile on Mainstreet Blues, a review of CS Blues, Robert Greenfiel and who else?

>> i don't know. <<

smile: well, we do: it's Short Fat Fanny. really, truly & for sure.

thanks if you can identify who you're quoting, when you quote,
and providing photo credits is always cool: that's someone's work we're enjoying.
(that last one of Keith is from Harold Colson's site - i don't know if Harold took it himself, though.)

First time I heard about Wolfman Jack was years ago when I read STP the Greenfield book ;Jack played Sweet Virginia and said "now we actually be talking to Mick Jagga "

that "Mostly Classic Self-Indulgent Stuff" review of CS Blues is posted here, among other places: [www.culturecourt.com]
the copyright at the bottom says it was written by Rick "Ojo" McGrath ... you're welcome, c&r! :E
i know you don't want people to think those are *your* words, so it would be good to add the author's name to the post.
same for the other authors you're quoting, and for the photo credits ... thanks

Interesting, fun reading - however, it's "short fat Fanny" - taken from a Little Ruchard tune.

That black dice "crew jacket" is a fake made several years after the tour. There were no crew jackets for that tour.
