Something I've just realised about the guitars. It's Jagger doing the continuous backround scratchy rhythm. That's pretty obvious. But then I'd assumed it was Keith doing all the (overdubbed) lead fills on the right (or is it left?) channel throughout the song. No, I now think that's Ronnie. All Keith does is the main Berry solo in the middle.

Isn't the impromptu ending good?! - with the odd guitar burst and Jagger-utterance, almost like Brown Sugar but just missing a drum shot.

No, I disagree. It sounds like Keith's ES-335 all the way on the fills.

It's the scratchy quality that made me think that it's Ronnie. And he's quite good at 'playing Keith', eg Boys Go and Tie Me Up. Besides, Ronnie is on the credits.

There´s a video in rs.com when they rehearse this song and is Ronnie who´s telling jagger how to keep up with the rythm. The fills are pure Keith. I don´t know what guitar parts Mick is playing on this song, but I assume they are buried on the mix in this one.

I think kid kilowatt has it right. When they played it at the New York press conference to announce the tour, it was Keith doing all the fills and Ronnie doing this thunderous rhythm part, (which was awsome btw).

And btw FSW, they @#$%& up the ending at the press conference too! That's pure Stones though.
