Real nice tracks, Rommick.
Downloaded two mp3´s. The tune "1973" is groovy & well-played. Maybe some more attack on rhytmsection would have put it even higher. Piano is prominent & shows a solid back ground in black roots music, maybe particularly in blues /maybe aven jazz)... Am I right? A little Stu, even, on the piano.

"Empty Heart": Tight,
Makes me longing to hear my nice "Nuggets"-collection (cd box) with American garage rock, which it seems to fetch some influences from, though this is much better than most of those some 120 songs. I think I hear very much the Soundtrack Of Our Lives in this Stones-interpretation. Nice handclap, organ is sheer awake and "on". I really like the mixture & dialectic interaction between the acoustic & the electric guitar. "huu-huuuh" choir is the dot over the "i".

Summary: Nice! Great!! Confident & as well as with seemingly influences it´s done with autonomic integrity. I could by a record with this. Download for free would be even better... Is there more?

I had some problem with this board yesterday, and now I can answer. Roots of piano spread exactly from Stu, from last track of "Dirty Work" and "Jamming With Edwards" - our favourite sound

You can not buy a record 'cause all download for free! More of our tracks are on the same page - some drafts and covers.

And most higher link lead to all our tracks since beginning in 1992 till now. But I do not recommend listen them at all, except Rollig Stones covers! ))

Sorry Rommick; tried to type (by pasting) Russian letters but you see above how it looks. Under "Êîíòèíåíòàëüíûé Äðåéô" is typed Kontintalnij Derif with Chyrillian letters.

I´ll return within a couple of days with more reviews.

This is an EXCELLENT version of LOUIE LOUIE by you guys. It's obviously not a live recording as the mix is very well done. I liked the vocals,handclaps,organ,guitar etc!!!

Do you guys play live anywhere? I realise you're probably in Russia somewhere....

I've listen your mp3s! Live sound always better than studio mix! Your Little Queenie is moderate and I like it!

Here in Moscow there are some live 60s covers bands: Sticky Fingers, Dance Ramblers, Stone Shades, Mothers Little Helpers... They live by the music. And we (Continental Drift) make it in studio only. Its our hobby But...who knows! 7 years ago we were live band...

In the beginning I sensed a lack of punk attitude... But when the piano gets goin after some 2 minutes (guitar solo after circa 1:30), and the hot interaction lead guitar/piano really becomes electric & ecclectic I spin like a litte racoon.
Come on! Give us more!

I was working at a camp where Ukranian kids from Tjernobyl- and Kiev-area came
to rest from the grey & unhealthy life they lived back in 1991.


They always said "Pajedem na ribalko! Pajedem na ribalko!"
I always thought they were speakin their native language;
maybe they used Ruissan as a bridge to me, who speak it at
the same level as a child. They always pulled a trick on med,
putting a slimy fish on the car´s seat. And I bought them icecream
after the ribalko. Maybe the latter was as interesting as fishing.

I´ll get back to you in the songs... Slow Richards-songs... That really sounds like something...

Nice story! For 50% of Ukraina population russian language is native. Tchernobil is in russian area...Ukranian languge near to Poland.

but it may have passed in thru one ear, out the other.

I like your other stuff, have it in my computer; but I miss
a smoke-broken voice upon Cause I´m Feeling as well as on Blutang´s Song.
This is just as good as your other songs, otherwise;
in fact I personally like this style even better, as I´m a Keithian and not a Jaggerian.

With the right vocalist on this, you dust the planes with any group...
Imagine if you could tempt ol Keith ´imself to lay the vocals... ?!

...Maybe a little down-tempo on Blutang would do it?

BTW nice to se Kiyv/Kiev in close-ups during the ESC.

I listened to "1973" and it has a really cool vibe to it. If you haven't heard the Chesterfield Kings, check 'em out -- they are very retro and cool like this music.

The riff sounds like an old Paul Revere and The Raiders song (not that there's anything wrong with that.)

The lead guitar sounds like it is based on samples that keep repeating. Are these "samples" original or store bought?

Exactly "1973" we made WITHOUT sampling. Cann't to say the same about "Empty Heart" and "Louie Louie" Lead guitar everywhere original. Acoustic background - VST (except Big City Lights).

I'll now search for Chesterfield Kings!
