Does anybody recall the MTV interviews from the Steel Wheels tour when Ronnie Wood was saying that Keith had ordered the guitars to turn down just before a show. Wood smiles and says, "My, how times have changed." In the same series of interviews Wyman states that Richards at another time ordered the keyboards to turn down due to the fact that the Stones were a "guitar band."

That's ancient history......It now is a Keyboard band!
Don't forget the schmaltzy Vegas style back-up singers and horn section. I have to say, just as Chuck destroys many Stones classics with his honkey Tonk style piano playing on every song,it was the horn section that ruined Bitch last tour, they were way too loud and stole the steam from the guitars.
Keith even dresses like a Las Vegas haidresser now...bright ugly colored clothing with lots of pretty scarfs.
The Stones ain't what they used to be...but they still rock!
Keith has always draped himself and his hotel rooms in scarves LOL. Certainly you cannot buy into the rough and ready fashion of 78 as anything but a bow to the punk fashion trend of the times. For the sake of reality, he is an entertainer doing whatever he can to appeal to millions. That B2B ankle length animal print coat with sunglasses ( in the dark) , was thatr less Hollywood?
Keith has carefully spent his life playing the part in public that we all expect from him, the Rock and Roll pirate, That is because very few want to here the truth, that he is a well read ageing parental multi-millionaire with an acute interest in expanding his fortune.
Keith Richards has been a favorite of mine for longer than I care to admit to be honest. As far as his tough guy image go's however, I doubt he'd have kept up with me in many a rough spot I've found myself in, over the year's? And I know a ton of guy's that would easily out do him in any type of tough guy contest any day of the week. How tough can a guy be that's been as protected and coddled as he's been all his adult life after all, once you really think about it? Not that I think any less of the man for it though! And I'm sure as an interesting and entertaining individual Keith still takes the cake.
I think it's a great photograph. If that was a photo of a band taken in the 70's, 80's, 90's, or this decade, it's very, very contemporary, IMO. The Stones have looked cool (there's that word again)in every decade since they started. I don't think Bono or the Edge would look as good as the Stones do in this shot...or any of a thousand photos of we've all seen... or REM for that matter. HA HA! IF this was 1985, would you rather have this on your wall, or a photo of Warrant?
Point taken. Even if I´ve had problem with my English-spelling lately (should have written "vaneness"); if you ask me Keefster is the coolest man on earth. Even a thousand ton cooler now than during junkies years, where he was cool as well. And if he wanted go for a fishing tour he is well equipped.

No.
Besides which, Vaneness is an attribute of windmills and weathercocks...
- No kiddin? ..Ok, sorry then. Thank you for info. My old language, Swedish, is very liberal and flexible to new thinking. If I head written "lingual re - creations", wouldnt is change anything either?
Please tell me the rules (so I may be able to break them): sane, vane etc... becomes attributively sanity, vanity: right? Or?
Anarchists in all countries: Unite and break all the language rules that oppreses and weigh down or shoulders. Still, its fine that we still can write bagger, shite, @#$%& here, isnt it?
