Just ordered it

Honestman, after step 3 the site took me to my banks verification tool since my card was a Visa card. After confirming the purchase with my electronic bankchip ( we always do that in Norway when purchasing things online) I was taken back to step 4 which was "send your order", so I guess you perhaps was not able to actually order it in step 4?

Sorry, can´t help you out with the 4 steps as
I´m living in Germany and pay by invoice.

But the book is worth the trouble, believe me.
If you don´t like it, you can at least use it
as a room divider.

That's exactly what happened, step 3 was ok , but i didn't see the step 4!
I will wait till' tuesday to check with my Bank, for my purchase,
because as I wrote, i don't want to pay it twice!
When I log my account , i don't see my order; so i believe that
i could retry but I'm not sure!

When you order from outside of Germany there is probably a problem with your postal code (PLZ). German postalcode is always 5 digits.
I live in Holland. Our postalcode is 4 digits followed by 2 letters.
I solved the problem by filling in 00000 at PLZ and then my postalcode in front of the name of my city.

If you still have trouble you can contact their customer service at mail@jokers.de
I did and they were very helpfull.

Please keep in mind that shipping in Europe will cost 10 Euros. Shipping outside Europe will cost 30 Euros.

Oh, and yes, the books are gorgious.

OK I have managed to order it.
I have paid 3.99 for p&p even though I don't live in Germany. I wonder what to think of this...

Honestman d'abord il faut que tu crées un compte, cad un Jokers avec ton adresse email et un mot de passe. Puis tu cliques sur le lien dans le mail de confirmation que tu reçois, ce qui te ramène sur leur site. Et ensuite seulement tu passes la commande...

A l'étape (n°3?) où tu dois entrer ton n° de CB il faut que tu passes en français (y a un petit bouton gris pour changer de langue au milieu/gauche de la page).
ENSUITE tu as un message (en français) qui t'informe que la transaction va être vérifiée. Le site se connecte à ta banque et te demande une info supplémentaire (ta date de naissance).
Ensuite bingo! la commmande est enregistrée et le site jokers repasse en Allemand.
Tu reçois un mail t'informant que ta commande est prise en compte

I try to command it but I don't understand a word of german. I register my name with adress etc under "suchbegriff", then I have a mail and when I take the adress in it I return on the first page and I can't see where I have to click too order this book.

Mine arrived this morning!! It looks stunning but 59€ seems a fairer price thna 200€ imo.
One complaint : the cardboard box used by Jokers for the expedition is WAY too thin but since the books are sold in a protective cardboard "suitcase" they were 100% free of damage on arrival (the "suitcase" took all the damages, pfew!).

So, VIELEN DANK Too Tough for giving us this very valuable info!

200 EURO is not overpriced for editions like this. The printing on high quality paper and the small editions brings not much money to the publishers. The publishers Schwarzkopf & Schwarzkopf in Berlin is a small company and they work very close with the artist. Usually there will be no reprints. Go to their website and you`ll find a lot of beautiful stuff.

They are phenomenal books.....now if only I'd waited until the economy turned south or they had too many left over or whatever else it was that caused them to drop the price...unfortunately, I was one of the very first ones to obtain this book. But I do love it.

Thanks for the information! I got the books today and they are really fantastic with lots of great shots. 59 euro really is a bargain!

Imho the quality of the printing is below Genesis Publications's. I own GP's G.Mankowicz 1965-67 book (the one with the contact-sheets that was sold in a box) and it has better production values than OOTHeads (better paper, better reprodcution of the pictures, better scales of grey)

Is it because the GP only has b&w pix whereas OOTH also has color pix : when you put both color an bw material in a book one of them will suffer. In the case of OOTH it's the b&w pix. The color pages look stunning (minus the 82 material made in low-light with crap, high-sensitivity, film)

BUT at 59€ you'd mad to pass on it...
