The Pretenders are stopping tomorrow over here in my island, Tenerife, been listening their new album, and in my opinion the album it´s really good!!!
With new members on their tour beside the great Martin Chambers Jim Keltner (Traveling Wilburys, Bob Dylan, Neil Young), James Walbourne (Pernice Brothers) and Eric Heywood (Son Volt, The Jayhawks, Ray Lamontagne), the album is full of rock & roll, soul and country!!!
I really like their riff and magic voice in Rosalee, the amazing country song, Love´s a mistery, the rockabilly sounds in Boots of Chinese plastic, the final balad Dylan style´s one thing never changed, their soul in Don´t lose faith in me, and more rock & roll in don´t cut your hair. I really like this album, let´s see what we sww tomorrow over here.
As Neil Young´s says Chryssie Hynde is a ROCKER, she keeps in her heart, she will be giving us hassle till to collapse.
The train of The Pretenders is comin´to town!!!

I'm sure you'll enjoy the Pretenders - they always deliver.

Jim Keltner isn't touring with them though. he drummed on the album for whatever reason, but Martin Chambers does it live.

Great concert tonite of Pretenders in Tenerife, full of rock and roll what a great band Chrissie Hynde has, I really enjoy the whole concert, tomorrow will post the review and pictures over here. Tribute to Bob Diddley, Bob Dylan, Everytime I saw Hynde she looks like more Keith Richards, de verdad!!

An hour and 45 minutes concert, since the begining Chrissie Hynde was rocking and talking about the band, experiences, old friends, Bob Dylan and trying to get up audience from their sits, I forgot to add the Dylan´s song Forever Young they played and I post the video.
I really liked the sound of their new album, great one!! than the old ones, all the band was great, but I really liked Eric Heywood , pedal steel MAN!!!
I really enjoy the night, saw lots of people they were in Barcelona as me with U2, we saw each other and said, long live to ROCK AND ROLL!!!!
Hope you like the pics, Hynde looks many times Keith and Dylan in some moments playing the guitar and posing like him.
And she is in a really good shape, MUY GUAPA!!
