So why is that Argentina sampler called Virgin Series Sampler and why is the tongue registered with Virgin Records when it's a UMG release?

What's funny is they even get that wrong. It wasn't first released by Virgin! Ha ha!

Was there a US sampler? I still don't get why that UK one doesn't have an Exile track on it - it's still being reissued...and if you go by the logic that it's getting a bigger re-release then why did they have the phase 2 and phase 3 reissue tracks on there since they weren't reissued a the time.

Makes NO sense.

I'm diggin' these samplers. I copied the Argentina one and I just made my own (2 tracks per album) for shits and giggles.

I picked up a Bigger Bang CD sampler not long ago with this track listing:

Rough Justice, Brown Sugar, Let me Down Slow, Happy, Streets of Love, Angie, Rain Fall Down, It's Only Rock'n'Roll, Laugh I nearly Died, Miss You, This Place is Empty, Start Me Up

Has got liquid tongue cover, and says the rolling stones in store sampler featuring 6 classics and 6 new classics from a bigger bang - for $5 from a CD fare, the girl that served me thought it was just a copy of Bigger Bang - plays in my car all the time!

It makes no sense to not have one Exile track on the sampler - it's being reissued anyway. So what if it's later.

that promo, where you can hear the rest of Out Of Control instead of
taking the promo version with a "clean" start.

Slave is the same as the Virgin.

As did I, and I've not seen it cheaper since. I've even kept it in the little plastic protective wrapper it came in - a first for me, but I'll continue to do this from now on. I've gotta protect my investments after all!!
