she doesn't have "one," though....i hate when the opposite gender tries to change a song's lyric to suit its opposite-genderness....

With less graphic lyrics, this maybe could have reached a blues level of No Expectations to some degree.

It's so very lonely, you're 2,000 Light Years from home

Despite being a fvck-you to the record execs, this is no dashed-off novelty track. Instead, it is a true classic, with brilliant lyrics and a mesmerizing vocal performance by Mr Michael Philip Jagger. That sniff is wonderful too. I simply love it.

Isn't it pretty "sick" lyrics on this one? Even Dee Dee's 53rd 3rd seems descent if you have a good look at it.

I had this one as Stones Creepiest song in another thread.

C o c k sucker Blues
(Mick Jagger / Keith Richards)

Rolling Stones Mobile Recording Unit, Stargroves, Newbury, Berkshire, UK or Olympic Sound Studios, London, UK, March - May 1970

Mick Jagger - vocals, acoustic guitar

Well, I'm a lonesome schoolboy and I just came into town
Yeah, I'm a lonesome schoolboy and I just came into town
Well, I heard so much about London, I decided to check it out

Well, I wait in Leicester Square with a come-hither look in my eye
Yeah, I'm leaning on Nelsons Column, but all I do is talk to the lion

Oh, where can I get my c o c k sucked, where can I get my ass f u c k e d
I may have no money, but I know where to put it every time

Well, I asked a young policeman if he'd only lock me up for the night
Well, I had pigs in the farmyard, some of them, some of them, they're alright
Well, he f u c k e d me with his truncheon and his helmet was way too tight

Oh, where can I get my cock sucked, where can I get my ass f u c k e d
WelI, I ain't got no money, but I know where to put it every time

I'm a lonesome schoolboy in your town
I'm a lonesome schoolboy in your town

Produced by Jimmy Miller

First released on:
The Rolling Stones - “The Rest Of The Best” 4LP Box bonus 7” single
(Teldec 6.30125FX) Germany, December 1984 (2nd edition only)

They did this song because they owed Decca one more single, right? I don't think it had anything to do with homosexuality - I thought it was a great big F*ck You to Decca for ripping them off so badly. They fulfilled their contractural obligations, but Decca couldn't distribute it, so they couldn't make any money off of it.

'I ain't got no money, but I knows where to put it ebbery time'

Such a deliciously haunting number. One that I always envisioned to be sung in medley with Sister Morphine.

Pure poetry from the crackle to the sniff. No shame in farmyard congress if the pigs are willing.

They should’ve written several more songs about a young man finding his feet in London as part of a concept album or musical. In high hopes, they’ll start writing and recording CS Blues 2 after reading my post.

A joke/shock song. Offensive to today's listener because it's not fair to gay men. I know Jagger was fascinated by gay culture but moreso as an outsider playing at the camp of it. As a writer, he doesn't get inside the gay experience. It's a snicker from outside.

Public Domain releases from next year must be a possibilty; unless someone does a limited release as the Dylan camp have been doing on some of Bob's unreleased work.
I assume ABKCO (not Decca) own the recorded copyright.

Interesting. Legal but not actually available for purchase, according to [www.discogs.com]

"No commercial issues of the bonus box set were on sale. Only a few copies had been distributed to the press, and some copies were rescued for private collections."
