Mick Taylor would certainly add a new twist to the current lineup. He is available and it appears he can still play. I have never understood the "get over it" sentiment his name produces. The Stones have used Blondie as a backstage guitarist for a couple of tours now - why not have Taylor, who at least has a history with the band - as a guest guitarist.
