According to a spanish web site, the "new versions" are remixes of the old songs with a caribean style.

More important:
According to the same web site, recently (maybe the last band meeting), Jagger refused to record a new Rolling Stones album.

The climate has been changing ever since the world began. To think that man can control climatic warming or cooling trends is absurd. There is actually more evidence for global cooling than warming. There is actually more growth of arctic ice areas than loss. Please don't drink the leftist cool-aid. It's all a scam to tax the successful countries and subsidize world-wide Socialism. I'll fight it with my last breath.

You sound exactly like the other Fox-programmed robots.

Science must not have been your strong point in school but the following is written for non-scientists by 620 scientists from 40 countries:

Why would you be unwilling to help the Earth? Do you have a lot of money invested in industries that would stand to lose money if forced to comply with environmental regulations? Because that's who the Fox cable channel represents.

They fly on their plane, they have their trucks drive around, MILLIONS of people show up for shows.

The fuuck does planting a few trees have to do with THAT!!!!????

There are better ways to protect the climate, than canceling all shows!

Robots? Does the same go for the New York Times? LA Times? Newsweek? Rolling Stone? THe data on climate change/global warming is pretty mixed regarding
the scientific community. You'll find just as many that agree with it as disagree. You have to digest both sides of the data.
Unfortunatly, most on this board don't do that (no matter what side you're on).
However, here in the great city of San Francisco (cough), we've implemented
a great idea: On certain days (which the government tells you) you can't have a fire in your fireplace (on your own private property or business).
If you like this idea, please respond: it'll show the statists from
the free thinkers.

I think the practical and particular politics needs to be distinguished from the scientific research here. The phenemenon of global warming is a matter of scientific research, while what to do with this fact, and cope with it, is a matter of practical, that is, a political decision. It could be that what the smartasses in San Francisco do is something to laugh about, but that does not have any implications to the scientific results concerning the pheneomenon of global warming.

Here in Europe, especially here in North, 'protestant' countries - where we all or more or less victims of "leftist propaganda", etc. from a certain American point of view - the balance between the scientific forces for or against the phenomenon of global warning (disputing the fact or not) is a bit strange, and giving the sides or their "data" equal weight sounds like an artificial act of being "objective" or "neutral". It belongs to the same sort of absurd debate as some are debating about the truth of evolution theory. To me that if one is inclined to claim "NO!" (be it global warning or evolutionary theory) it seems like one is driven by other tendencies or forces than pure scientific interest. If one has studied science enough one can know that certain "results" are quite easily to be provided to the use of certain given purposes. And as we quite clearly know, there is a LOT of money involved in the matter of the thread of global warning.

But of course, one can claim that we are driven "leftist cool-aid scam" since Aristotle or Copernicus or Galileo or Newton or Darwin decided to start researching nature scientifically. All of them are teamed up to get a democrat elected as the president of the United States of America one day or trying to socialise the economy, and thereby giving a death to "the land of the free, home of the brave", etc...

Do NOT dare disagree on this site because everyone (well, almost everyone) wants you to agree with them ALL the time because if you do not then you must only watch Fox and of course Fox is no good because BEFORE Fox there was nothing else that sometimes took a different perspective on things and of course the 'left" does not want diffrent views -- only their views.

Thanks man! Welcome to the club. We are outnumbered. Weird that so many people get so pissed when a diffrent "side" is presented. Sort of like the kid who wouldn't let you play with their basketball. Sad but true.

Actually, you WON'T find as many that disagree...the other Fox rep that I debate with only came up with two. A guy at MIT and some professor in Asia. Can you top the 640 scientists in 40 countries in the IPCC report?

People who watch Fox unfortunately are those that are easily led. Everyone should question journalists and their agenda. Usually that agenda is money. Unless you're bill German and you're true to your roots.

Easily led??!!! HAHAH. That's the funniest thing I ever heard. Of course, Al Gore DEFINITELY was the arhcitect of the internet.

Pass the kool-Aid!

Now to the more serious. yes kiddies, there are two sides to the global warming thing ...

Warming fears are the “worst scientific scandal in the history. … When people come to know what the truth is, they will feel deceived by science and scientists.” — UN IPCC Japanese Scientist Dr. Kiminori Itoh, an award-winning PhD environmental physical chemist.

“For how many years must the planet cool before we begin to understand that the planet is not warming? For how many years must cooling go on?” — Geologist Dr. David Gee the chairman of the science committee of the 2008 International Geological Congress who has authored 130 plus peer reviewed papers, and is currently at Uppsala University in Sweden.

“Many [scientists] are now searching for a way to back out quietly [from promoting warming fears], without having their professional careers ruined.” — Atmospheric physicist James A. Peden, formerly of the Space Research and Coordination Center in Pittsburgh.

“Creating an ideology pegged to carbon dioxide is a dangerous nonsense. …The present alarm on climate change is an instrument of social control, a pretext for major businesses and political battle. It became an ideology, which is concerning.” — Environmental Scientist Professor Delgado Domingos of Portugal, the founder of the Numerical Weather Forecast group, has more than 150 published articles.

Um, Keith has nothing against coconut trees since that didn't happen that way. We all know it.

And besides, no one has to plant coconut trees - the nuts wash up on beaches and plant themselves.
