What ever happened to Kenny Jones? Didn't he play with the Stones on tour one year?

Kenny is very much alive and well and playing with his own band!

In fact I saw the Kenny Jones Band before a packed crowd at the Cavern Club in Liverpool a couple of years' ago and it was a superb gig.

Kenny Jones on stage at the Art Wood tribute concert in early 2007 (he's looking worried because a big chunk of plaster just fell out of the stage ceiling and nearly flattened his drum kit!)

Do you think Art Wood was trying to tell them something?

My memory escapes me as to whom, but someone onstage, that night
asked the exact same question.

Somebody suggested Art might be dancing on the roof....

Yeah. That was the year when they thougt Charlie needed some help so they used two durmmers. It didn't work out too well, though. Charlie and Kenny kept having fist fights onstage.

this was the inspiration for Ronnie's song 'Pretty Beat Up'...
