Well yes, quite agree. We've all seen Jim Driver's idea of "special guests" .... Bob the sodding builder and his Doc Martin boots.

Yep, got my ticket, can't wait to have a stones-fan reunion beforehand. I wish my pub was a bit closer to the venue, then we would have the perfect place for a drink beforehand...!!

The legal capacity is normally 300, but that gives a good amount of space: there are some tables/chairs and plenty of standing/dancing space.
The dressing room is about 1 metre by 3 metres! bench down one side. Tiny. Great PA (and sound man) and good sound despite the shape of the room.

Bought tickets last night, really looking forward to this. I last saw Charlie (without the Stones) performing with his jazz orchestra in 1984 in the UK, was great night.

May I recommend the "Royal George", in Goslett Yard, just off Charing Cross Road near the junction with Tottenham Court Road. It's a nice place, serves good food, good selection of beer, nice decor...

Ok, so no decision on the pre-show meet up. I know alot of people know the st. giles hotel bar, but there are alot better places to drink nearby...
I'll reiterate my recommendation, the Royal George pub in Goslett Yard, just off Charing Cross Road, just next to the centre point junction with oxford street / tottenham court road. It's a great pub, perfect for some drinks before the gig.
