Why shouldn't they play Bitch? It rocks, fantastic version in Oslo on the last tour.

Haha,skipstone,no problem -

I´ll take my old three :
Miss You
Satisfaction
YGMR
...but I really wouldn´t mind if those were played,beside....ygmr...
that´ll be a tough one for me.

Nevertheless,I´m very curious if ( and when ) and what´s been planned,
let´s see how´s gonna worked out...could be hard for our "vegas community" here ! grinning smiley

Down with all lists of what they should or should not play. Gazza has it right: play what the band want to play and will enjoy, play it well and we will probably enjoy it too.

It's obvious some of you take this kind of thing too seriously. I made the list obnoxiously long on purpose and even left out some songs on purpose - and forgot some as well.

Yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah....goddamn, we know they're gonna play what THEY wanna play because THEY think they HAVE to play...what THEY always play and that's what THEY "want" to play.

It´s more a fun thing than to be taken THAT serious...and wasn´t it in the end
from different fan pages before the Licks and the ABB tour some "wishlists"
which might be a help to encourage them to perform CYHMK and Sway ?

Yes,I´m aware they don´t need our vote to perform anything but I don´t think
that those lists do any harm to anyone.

Sure..after all those 10 'warhorses' are the only hits (or good songs for that matter) that they have....eye rolling smiley

.....certainly Sympathy has lost it's swagger....Jagger can't cut that one anymore ..no matter how much he's dancing at 1:45 into the concert....I understand the audience participation is what the band like...but that's one tired old Sympathy...You Got me Rockin' is a bathroom break....Keith's sets are getting worse.....is that an oximoron???.....I prefer it when the glimmers harmonize...I loved the set lists from '78 certainly, but Licks gave a nice variety.....something for everybody...time to introduce gems and hits, with new again.,..a 16 song set that challenges the audience a little bit.

OK...I do have one request.....keep Chuck's plunk...plunk...plunk....low in the mix!!!!

They can play what they like IMO... just PLEASE rehearse it well!!!

They shouldn't drop no songs at all. Just alternate the setlists heavily and play well rehearsed versions of all songs.

Exactly....

Long as they replace whatever they drop and don't shorten the setlist any further than 20 songs all will be fine.

And SHORTEN songs PLEASE!

I cannot anymore take 10 minute warhorses!!

They'll only play the stuff Blondie Chaplin knows the chords to^

I would't miss "You got me Rocking", attempts to grant it warhorse status ain't working; a competent track, but lifeless more often than not onstage.

I'm a bit tired of hearing Honky Tonk Women, Miss You..why not do some they never like:

Dandelion
Lady Jane
Coming Down Again
Fingerprint File
If You Want To Be My Friend...& so on.

No one have mention Midnight Rambler....

They could play whatever they need or want to. I would be there and enjoy it !

Re: Songs The Stones Shouldn't Play On The Next Tour

1) You Got Me Rocking

2) Miss You

3) Sympathy for the Devil

4) It's Only Rock 'n' Roll ( But I Like It )

5) Honkey Tonk Women

Those are the five most obvious in need of a break. Resting JJF & Start Me Up may be taking it too far.

It would have, but he doesnt have that vocal range anymore.

Is it that or is it saving his voice or just not having any passion?

To me, it may be the only song they band still plays with conviction. The song still has a magic that the band connects with. Is it the groove? The song's open playing field? Dunno...but I don't think this song has even come close to being as tired as any other song that's played just as often....
