If he does write this bio,it will be interesting to see if he comes up with anything new, that we don't already know....highly unlikely.

Well, Phillip Norman will probably do a workmanlike job. His book "The Stones" was pretty thorough, but he seemed to loose interest after 1971.
Well, most of them do don't they (the authors, I mean).
Last year he produced a large tome on John Lennon. Reasonably well balanced, but nothing very new unearthed. A lot of items taken from other already published sources. He managed to come out with the gem that (maybe) Julia may have had a sexual interest in Young John.
Well, I never.
Maybe Mick - Keith ...who knows?
It certainly won't focus a great deal on musical analysis.
I wonder if he'll interview Mr Klein and/or Mr Oldham.

Norman's previous Stones book was a hack job and he's got plenty of press attention ever since as some kind of 'definitive' Stones biographer as it seems every time they're in the news they trot him out as some kind of authority.

Each tour, he rushes out a hurried 'updated' version which is sloppily researched and which probably took him about 10 minutes to cover a period of about five years.

I'm sure the next opus will be a real cracker.

His Beatles bio "Shout!" was pretty good, though.
