OT - KISS tour

OK, I'll get bombarded with anti-KISS comments, but I think it's cool that they are letting the fans vote on the tour itinerary for their upcoming tour.

Just a way to do market research. What if no one wants them?

A clever marketing tool. This way they avoid playing in half empty venues like they did on their last tours. Espeicially in the US. I think they're washed up.

Every band is popular in South America and can fill stadiums there.

Holds were already placed on venues before this came up apparently. It's more likely Eventful paid KISS to do this to get more people to sign up with them so they could recieve "marketing" on a regular basis.

They'd still be a joke even if they had any kind of rhythm at all. Regardless, they make Spinal Tap sound professional. But it's all a good joke. It really is. They're fantastic. Wonderfully awful.

It's just that...they did that last tour. They said it - last tour. Then they kicked whatsisface out and now...another tour? Aren't the action figures selling enough?

Can I vote for them NOT to come to my city. Gene Simmons is a bigger whore than Mick Jagger....Just slightly.

Have you ever heard Deuce? Or Cold Gin, Strutter, Detroit Rock City...or any of em?

I have heard all of KISS' songs. They're crap! But they're catchy. They just sound like a garage band - which means the drummer always sucks and the guitar playing is borderline noise.

It explains why they're so popular - because they are what a lot of people never found time to do - get a garage band together and succeed at being bad!

Great band though. Hilarious and very entertaining.

Yes, you are right! They played here last weekend and all comments I've heard and read were very positive and I think the band had a nice time too and enjoyed the crazy crowd.

No, that's not truth.
And generally the bands came only to 3 Southamerican countries: Brazil, Argentina and Chile. The other almos don't count at all.

I think their PR stunt of letting the fans decide where to play is garbage. Live Nation will buy the tour and chose the cities. If they want to see who would really pick the cities and who would actually attend, they should have the fans put a deposit down for tickets so they cannot back out.

there's a rumour doing the rounds that Kiss will support AC/DC at Giants Stadium and maybe a few Canadian stadiums

All I can say is Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

The DC should call the Stones and ask em to return the favour

If Kiss were to open for AC/DC at Gigants Stadium I think Angus Young could return the favor while dropping his pants on stage and showing the text "Kiss My Ass"
on his American flag underwear and then doing a nice cover of "I Was Made For Lovin' You". I bet Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons would love if he'd pull a stunt like that.
