Keith is one of rock music's best singers. This song is one example. Here's another example I found just now:

Thank you, Turd.I love those Keith's ballads. It seems like the song is going to fall appart before the end but it holds together in a weird way. I really like that feel à la Tom Waits.

Keith's voice is divine. I wish there had been more solo albums and tours. These are both gems. Thanks R. and t. Made my evening.

Thought I was hearing another version of Suck On the Jugular with that intro.

Uuh yeah, - it kicks off with another of those terrible Suck on Jugular un-grooves!
I really hate it when Charlieboy is banging the drums like this!

We call it "potato drumming"!

Since the 80's there's always been Stones tunes with that kind of bumpy drumming. It's partly due to his (lack of) drumtechnics and partly the way it's been recorded.(you never got drumtracks like these from Jimmy Miller!)

Hate the sound/playin on potatoes like Neighbours,Hold back,Back to zero,Hold on to your hat, Sweet Neocon, etc.
