Odds already posted 5-1 against that he will show up for the first show

And if/when that happens, what are the odds of getting a refund from TicketMaster?!

On the probability scale of +1 to +10 ... I'd say about -50 !!

I wonder if he will lip-sync or actually sing. I'd go see him if it's going to be the latter.

Only 100 people showed up to catch a glimpse of him at a London Hotel? How times have changed - he could pull a huge crowd just to watch him dangle a baby at a hotel in the good old days.

Lip-sync, I reckon. Apparently, when he performed with his brothers at Madison Square Garden in 2001, he lip-synced to his original vocals. Couldn't even be bothered to re-record his vocals.

What has happened to Michael Jackson fanbase?

The people used to scream for him were young girls - now when I watched the clip from yesterday all I can see was middle-aged men screaming... I mean, people get old, but..

Michael is not one of my favorites, but I pity him. Why are people so cruel. Can't people just let him at least try to proove that he still is the king of pop? Maybe he still is? Why focus on his face, odd behaviour, child abuse or whatever. Try to focus on his music instead and then most must admit that he is, or at least was a genius. Give the guy a chance and stop picking at him before he hits the stage this summer. I agree with those who thinks that he wouldn't do this if he thought he couldn't do it good enough.

I predict not all shows will sell out and be consolidted into a smaller number of actual concerts. Factor in his notorious last minute no shows and this'll make the Titanic look like Christmas Panto.

I wonder how many nights the Stones could fill THE O2 Arena ?

Three. That was the case in 2007.

Different circumstances, though. They'd played the UK the year before, it wasnt their only shows in the world that year, it hadnt been over a decade since they last performed, they werent billing it as a farewell tour and they were asking £150 for most of the tickets.

apologies for being pedantic, but the Stones did not FILL 3 nights at the O2.

The tuesday and thursday shows were far from sell-outs.

Free upgrades were available, on the concourses, once inside the venue.

O2 staff, were standing by the escalators, with fistfull's of tickets.
It was just a question, of approaching them, and swapping a £80 nosebleed seat, for a better quality,£150 seat.

If you like canned music and lip synching at a concert then going to see Whacko is for you. Aerosmith and several country acts and other pop acts are similar.

If you like real music and real singing at a concert then the Stones or AC/DC or The Cult or Bob Dylan or Bruce Springsteen is for you. And plenty of others.

Steve Tyler lyp-synchs? It doesn't surprise me as his voice left this planet years ago. What have tix pre-sales been like for Jacko's 02 shows? I wonder how many of his family will expect private jet service from the US and fancy hotel accommodation?

This is a disaster of mini series proportions!
