I read somewhere that there is talk that for a new tour, Stones tickets could top $ 500.00,this is in order for them to play arenas rather than stadiums,which the way the economy is it would be very hard to sell.
This could actually be bullshit and just rumors,but it raises a question,Would you be willing to pay that kind of money to see the band?
In my case no way l would pay that much for a ticket.

I'd be amazed if they ever tour again anyhow. One last tour would have to be a cash cow aka: Tina Turner and soon there aint gonna be a penny left!

Probably not. It would have to be a dramatically different event for me to spend that amount of money. I still love the boys live, but have seen them numurous times the last few tours...and it would definitely involve travel, as they will not come to Jakarta...

$45 remains my limit for the stones or anybody else.

1. I'd consider it....if it would buy me 3 to 4 shows (if I like the set lists).

2. or I'll spend $150 for the cheap seats.

I won't spend $500 to see them in an arena. I've already seen them in an arena. But I would spend $500 to see them do a deep-cuts-only set in a theatre. A performance of Exile, in its entirety, would also be tempting.

Probably the tops, if I am gainfully employed with spending money, would be in the $50 range, give or take $20 depending on type of venue, how they sound on boots, what the alternating rare songs are etc.

I love the band's music and going to see them but the only way I truly get excited is over bands I haven't seen before.

Pah ! Absolute child's play. Round it up to the nearest THREE zeros, that's WOT I reckon. $1000 a ticket, that's more like it. It's a nice round figure, and there's no heavy maths involved in calculating how much you've spent when you've just bought ten of them - just stick another zero on the end and you're done. Simple !
