In my opinion Dirty Work has been the worst RS album...Only save "One Hit" Great song,"Sleep tonight" Great Keef, "Too Rude" and a half of the title track...Sticky is one of the five masterpieces of the band with Beggars,Exile,LIB and Aftermath!!

you guys are gonna think i'm full of !@#$ but i do prefer undercover lp to exile and i would much rather hear i go wild than sympathy...how's that for taste? i also feel the '80's to be a great period in the stones career--loved dirty work and emotional rescue lp's----so you see, there are some of us out here!! (evil mad scientist laughter)!! i am serious 'tho....it just goes to show you how many different kinds of stones fans there are....i even listen to flashpoint and live licks....why not?? every lp has SOMETHING worthwile on it ......

why compare what mostly is an unfortunate monstrosity with something that is a genius rock and roll masterpiece of great deep soul complete abandon and honking, twisting pounding perfection? diff tastes for diff peeps i guess but this seems more a joke

I really like Keith´s comment about not being able to play in a band with a posturing, posing lead singer...

He's serious ....
He's sayin' he don't like that hair flyin' back heroic male
bravado posing... That posin' stuff like they've been tortured
then strapped to the front of a battle ship but they still gonna
break free and save all the chicks from ALL the bad dudes in the world stuff ....
Mick don't do that ....

like a sexually ambiguous chicken, struttin' around the stage
Yeah that's it ...While the other two are strapped to the front
of the ship wailin' their arses off Mick's down in da galley makin'
the captain's wife jump & SHOUT...

Dirty Work is by far and away the weakest Stones album of the 80s. Half of it is sloppy, throwaway, knocked off and kicked out tosh.
But, there are still highlights - One Hit, Harlem Shuffle, Too Rude, Winning Ugly, Back to Zero and Sleep Tonight are all great. That the outtakes are better than the album proper should tell you everything you need to know.
