I know....I was like "is he serious?" (disclaimer: I'm a HUGE Who and Zeppelin fan)...Mick makes those two guys (Plant and Daltrey) look like shrinking violets!
Yeah Mick just prances and preens like a sexually ambiguous chicken, struttin' around the stage! :-D
I love Mick and the Stones but he's definitely the *least* masculine of those three front-men!

Hey man, I like all 3 of those guys as frontmen so I'm not arguin'! :-)
So six songs are great and the remaining four are crap? That´s pretty good for an album.

and Had It With You, let's just say stuff no one else probably likes,
and I didn't like them, but at least I wasn't bored.
this music just sucks but how many times in a @#$%& row can you listen to CYHMK?

Dirty Work has some good stuff on it Love the title track.The words mean a lot to a lot of people who have to knucke down at work. Me for one for many years.

In my opinion Dirty Work has been the worst RS album...Only save "One Hit" Great song,"Sleep tonight" Great Keef, "Too Rude" and a half of the title track...Sticky is one of the five masterpieces of the band with Beggars,Exile,LIB and Aftermath!!

why compare what mostly is an unfortunate monstrosity with something that is a genius rock and roll masterpiece of great deep soul complete abandon and honking, twisting pounding perfection? diff tastes for diff peeps i guess but this seems more a joke

(evil mad scientist laughter)!! i am serious 'tho....it just goes to show you how many different kinds of stones fans there are....i even listen to flashpoint and live licks....why not?? every lp has SOMETHING worthwile on it ......

i knew you guys would'nt believe me...sigh...i also really enjoy goats head soup (100 years ago-YEAH!!), and listen to BTB and ABB a hell of a lot more than some girls or sticky fingers----no crack needed...i get high on life!!!! (and mickeys!!)

Dirty Work is by far and away the weakest Stones album of the 80s. Half of it is sloppy, throwaway, knocked off and kicked out tosh.
But, there are still highlights - One Hit, Harlem Shuffle, Too Rude, Winning Ugly, Back to Zero and Sleep Tonight are all great. That the outtakes are better than the album proper should tell you everything you need to know.
