Bizarre Babes : Live at the Basement,

But if you keep on with that kind of research here you might soon be king or queen of the OT´s,which I wouldn´t mind. smiling smiley

Good luck

Thank you very much, CindyC - you really got it! - Just bought the 'Remix' version on iTunes. CindyC...can you tell me more about Beth Orton?

Sorry Live! I don't know anything about her. I just picked up one of the lyrics on the clip you posted and searched google for you.

I actually really like the file you posted, I'm not crazy about her singing though.
It looks like there are a few remixes of it, hope you find the one you're looking for.

My first thought was also Beth Orton. I do have 2 of her CD's (Trailer Park & Central Reservation). Don't know a lot about her other than she's got an awesome mystical voice. I especially like Water from a Vine & She Cries your Name. Her voice is normally much stronger than what was on the clip posted.

Not quite as OT as you might have thought!
Ryan Adams and Beth Orton - Brown Sugar:

"As we say in England, it can get a bit trainspottery"

She also did No Expectations with Beck. I don't know if it's on youtube though, I heard it a few years ago.

Wouldn't you just know it!:

The song proper doesn't start until 2:18

Finally, I finished listening to the complete album catalog of Beth Orton (thanks to the local library).
She's a nice girl...she can't do anybody harm. 'Carmella' (album version and remix), this is the best one...but I discovered one more little nice tune of hers...listen to this intro of 'Couldn't Cause Me Harm' from 'Central Reservation'...I sure would like to hear this in a Stones version! Are you aware of the stuff Beth has done with The Chemical Brothers?

Where Do I Begin (from Dig You Own Soul)

Alive Alone (from Exit Planet Dust)

Is this the first sighting of the Chemical Brothers on IORR?
I love the Chems!
