Wuudy - You may be right. I'd like to hear it in a club. Not a stadium song for sure.

How about 'Out Of time'? a forgottn gem - great sing-along chorus, etc. Resurrected brilliantly by the Ramones (great Jaggeresque drawling)

Great idea! I always thought that this one could work perfectly in a live concert setting - fantastic melody, much better sing-along chorus than, let's say You Got Me Rocking.

And somehow I think that songs like Out Of Time from the early stage of their career would work better than songs which require exquisite guitar work like Time Waits For No One, 100 Years Ago and the like.

The Stones did a great version of "Crazy Mama" in Ft Worth 97. My first gen tape is a little distant until they come down for the B stage(where they did this song)and the Little Queenie and Crazy Mama just blow ya away. Especially Keiths guitar which was really cranked up here!

the mistake they made with crazy mama was having mick play guitar; it kept him from concentrating on the vocals, which suffered alot....ron and keith handled their respective parts fine on it....

Jig-Saw Puzzle

I concur. Jigsaw Puzzle. They've ignored this and Dear Doctor from BB... and I really can't see them pulling out the latter.

Didn't they rehearse Slave prior to the Licks tour? Or was it BB-tour? I seem to remember a video-clip on either the Four Flicks or TBB DVD.

I was there as well - also thought Mama smoked along with Queenie on the small stage. Ronnie really nailed the lead parts on Mama.

the glory daze of the b-stage....occasionally tainted by an unwelcome YGMR, but otherwise brilliant....

Too Much Blood - disagree, but would find it cool
Highwire - disagree
Coming Down Again - totally agree
One Hit to the Body - they did it in '89, and it fell flat
Let It Loose - YES!
Out of Time - YES!
Mother's Little Helper - Mick's hatred for this song has been documented.
Send it to Me - I'd find it cool
Indian Girl - I'd find it cool
Everything is Turning to Gold - I'd find that really cool
Time Waits for No One - PLEASE GOD YES!!!!
Hearts for Sale - Really?
Slave - MY GOD YES!!!
Complicated - So-so
Almost Hear You Sigh - now I've heard boots of this from 1990 and it sounded great. Who knows?

it's been almost 20 years (if i'm right) since they last played 2000 light years...

Certainly none of you are hoping that they play any of these gems the way they played Sawy on ABB...

They did One Hit and it fell flat - what makes you think Let It Loose wouldn't be flat? Or any of the other tunes? I find that funny that just because it was flat on one tour it's flat automatically forever. If that's the case, they should have retired Start Me Up after 1990.

I think it would be hilarious if they slipped Highwire into the middle of a show. Finally give it a live performance.

I thought one hit was terrific and should never have been dropped from the set, every version from 89 ROCKED until they foolishly dropped it because the i dont know anything except the war horse casual fan didnt get it
