gotta agree with gazza that BLOOD ON THE TRACKS is just a fantastic, fabulous album, so much going on there, emotionally and intellectually which, if an artist, like a woman (Nativeamerican,GERMAN, Croatian, Italian), can satisfy, cannot be beat.
That being said:
STICKY FINGERS forever.
Overall it is possible that all those tracks taken together on Exile vs Sticky's 10 maybe beat it out
but ST is superior largely on the strength of 3 great tracks:
Brown Sugar
Cant u hear me knockin - favourite stonessong of all time, except it should have been cut off before it turned off in the latter part of the song
Bitch
once in a while an album, like a great football team (realfootball and americanfootball both) can be largely carried by a handful of folks who by their sheer skills and WILL to win, can carry a team to a championship. Think Joe Montana in 81. Think Pele or another in the realfootballworld.
call it Triumph of the Will if u like.
This dead-on applies here and makes SF superior to any other Stones album.
Now argue with me and we can fight!!!!!!!!!!!!!! got to do this as much as poss be4 the next tour, yaknow!!!!!!!!! time is running short, or maybe not

I think I have to agree with keefriffhard - these change all of the time. There are so many good albums out there. It's hard to pick one.

If I had to pick one I'd have to pick Let It Bleed.
