It took me about a split second decition time to order the new Rolling Stones photo book by Hendrik Mulder: "One More Time" - The Rolling Stones Hackney Diamonds Tour 2024. If you love The Rolling Stones, and may be you even went to see them in USA or Canada during the 2024 Hackney Diamonds Tour, this is the perfect souvenir, or gift to a Stones friend. For me, it is placed along the previous book by Hendrik Mulder, his first photo book, and as I turn the pages of the new book, my memories go back to those great shows.
I have made some mobile phone pictures of some of my favorite book pages, see below. The quality of these pictures, taken by me, is not up to the standard of the original book, as there are some reflexes, shades etc. But... You get the picture. The photos are sharp, crystal clear, taken in the right moments. Hendrik likes it in Pit A front center, with his "pocket camera", which you may read more about on his "Love You Live" web site.
"One More Time" is larger than the first book, which makes bigger photos, great! The size is 12" x 12", i.e. 30 x 30 cm, just like the old fashioned LP records. Some photos are spread across two pages, which makes it even wider than the books pages, some pages do have 2-3 photos per page. With a total of 120 pages, there are lots of great and unique pictures.
There is a limit of 500 numbered copies in total, at a price of 40 Euro plus shipping, as compared to the 30 Euro price on the first book. If you compare, you get more for your money with the new book - larger size, more space to spread out large format events and moments.
I will say the very same I said about Hendrik Mulders first book: In short: Excellent front row photos. Crystal clear and sharp shots. Get your own copy now!
