Tim and Bernard was on stage with a great backing, including keyboards, bass, drums and guitar, some of the finest world class musicians around. Stones songs may sound quite different when they are done the jazz way, but sure everybody could recognize great versions of "Honky Tonk Women", "Tumbling Dice", "Wild Horses", "Miss You", "Gimme Shelter" and "Satisfaction". Also, they did "A Change Is Gonna Come", and the encore "To Love Somebody".
We do know that The Rolling Stones do work with the best musicians there are. Still, to have Bernard Fowler on lead vocals do show us what a great singer and entertainer he is, and Tim Ries sure is a band leader, as well as a great musician, you do always enjoy these shows, because they do so many great songs, and amazing interpretations.
Many thanks to Tim Ries and Bernard Fowler, for taking the time to entertain us in a small and unique scale during this tour, as well as during previous tours!
