The Rolling Stones are releasing a live album with songs from the 2002 - 2003 LICKS world tour. One disc with the greatest and most famous hits. Another disc with rare songs played during the tour. The release was originally planned for October, but has been postponed until November 1. The CD cover is the "Honky Tonk Women" cartoon girl riding on the tongue. The release is worldwide. The double live album will reflect the variety of shows that the band played. CD1 aimed at the "new" fan incorporating live versions of the hits - essentially this will be the stadium show. CD2 will feature a compilation of songs which are rarely played live. These would be taken primarily from the club and arena shows. The album will have two separate sleeves - one with a topless 'manga' girl and one censored. |
