How to get to the venue

Train from Brussels to Leuven. May be 1 hour? Then special bus from Leuven station to the festival area: De LIJN (Bus company) is providing a fast and continious transfer between Leuven Trainstation and the festivalground at Werchter. May be 15 minutes? Then walk 15-20 minutes from the bus stop to the Werchter show site.

General

You are allowed to take in water and other drinks in smal cardboard boxes, we call it "brick" (outside cardboard, inside something like Aluminium foil), blankets, small photo cameras (pocket), sunblock, perfume, refreshing water in those small spray cans, small bags or backpacks (will be controlled), umbrellas (not the large ones used on a terrace and coolers (will be controlled).

NO GO's: Glass, cans (bier or coke or other cans), bottles (glass or plastic), professional AV material (audio, video, film), knives, Kalashnikovs, wooden sticks, helmets.

There will be ATM cashmachines (also usable with foreign bankcards)

There will be an Emergency Medical Team from the university Clinic of Leuven and Red Cross people all over the place.

Infostand at the bridge at Werchter (near the entrance) Tel.: + 32/(0)16/60.50.33 (only in use on september 7th)

All drinktickets-, catering- en merchandise stands will accept Proton (don't know if this is available in other countries; it's a chip on your bankcard that you can load with a certain amount of virtual cash), which can also be loaded at the ATM machines.
