Nearest big city

Paris

How to get to the city

Plane : 2 major airports : Charles de Gaulle and Orly.
Budget companies land in Beauvais, which is a very remote airport. Takes a long time to get into the center of the city

Stations :
Gare du Nord : trains from the North ( Belgium, Netherlands) And Eurostar from London
Gare de l'Est : trains from Luxembourg, Germany, Austria, Poland etc
Gare de Lyon : trains from Italy
Gare Montparnasse : trains from Spain / Portugal
Coach : Eurolines terminal in the East of Paris

How to get to the venue

Bercy : Subway lines 6 and 14 (14 is fully automatic : trains every 3 minutes - more at the rush hours)

Stade de France ( located in Saint Denis): Submay line 13 and RER (express train) line D the subway station is closer to the stadium than the RER, but the way from the RER is easier, and the RER goes faster than the subway.

Recommended hotels

Recommended bars/restaurants

Some girls bar - 43 Rue de Lappe - 75011 Paris Small but nice and not too expensive Stones bar : stones music, stones artwork Located very close to the " Place de la Bastille " Lot of subway line stopping at Bastille.

If you look for french food, you have " les brasseries " ( at least 30-40 EUR ) like the very well known " La Coupole" close to the Gare Montparnasse. Cheap french food is at " Chartier ", but it's crowded if you're not there early. No reservations possible. Of course, the traditional tourist traps : " Hard Rock Caf " ( subway station " Grands Boulevards "), " Planet Hollywood " (on the Champs Elyses, equal distance from " George V " and " Franklin D Roosevelt " subway stations)
