From Alicante there is also a small train that stops right at the Foietes stadium back, that's the Benidorm main stop. This train is called "El Trenet" and you have to go into Alicante as well.
Or if you're planning to rent a car, then you have to look for the highway A7 and from Valencia head towards Alicante, and from Alicante head towards Valencia. And then you should go out at number 65, which is marked with "Benidorm - Levante".
Anyway, I found this web page that's really good explaining, it's a real estate agency, but the explanation is good: www.gestaltur.com.
But if you really want to go pubing, the best area is the beginning of Levante Beach (close to the old town), from (say) 1am till 4 am and then to the main road area, the one that takes you to Valencia, "Nacional 332", there's lots of discos there. There's also a "well known" British area, with all British pubs in it, in the area of "Rincon de Loix".
If you click on the blue letters that say "centro nuevo", you will see on top of it a football stadium, and really close to it at its right something that says "estacion ffcc". That's what I previously meant by the train station. Close, eh?
Then, to see the bus station (which is not marked on this map) you have to click on "Playa de Levante", and you have to look for "Avenida de Europa" which goes sort of vertical and find the cross with "Calle Gerona", and there is the bus stop located.
