The tour dates for the rest of the world, including Europe, Asia and Australia, are expected to be announced late October 2002.
Recent changes and additions: Oct. 10: Benidorm, Spain July 1, also Barcelona probably in June. Oct. 8: San Siro Italy after Vienna. Sept. 28: Vienna may be June 21, also Munich date June 26. Sept. 26: European tour start probably in Vienna June 19. Sept. 16: Marseille and Paris dates July 5 and 8 probable. Sept. 11: Hong Kong (China) and India might get shows too. Sept. 11: Slane Castle, Ireland rumour. Sept. 11: Olympia show July 8 rumoured. Sept. 3: Dates outside USA/Canada posted separately under "tour03". Sept. 3: Mexico shows probably off.

The 2002-2003 World Tour started officially in Boston on September 3, 2002. After touring USA & Canada from September through November, and then in January 2003, they will go to the Far East and Australia in February, then Europe next summer, and finish off with a few shows on the U.S. East Coast in September 2003. Unfortunately it does not seem likely they will do any shows in South America or Mexico this time.
The Glastonbury Festival:
Normally the Stones does not play festivals.
One recent exception is the
Frauenfeld Festival in Switzerland Thursday July 9, 1998.
But this is the 40th anniversary tour,
and the Glastonbury Festival is high profile,
so this rumour might be true.
Please note that the Glastonbury Festival do not announce the
bands on the bill until long after tickets go on sale.
But before Feb. 2003, when the 2003 festival should go on sale,
we should know a lot more...
