QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteTheBlockbuster QuoteDandelionPowderman QuoteTheBlockbuster The '89/'90 versions are good but a bit too clean sounding. I like the bluesy and less hysteric vibe it had on the Bridges to Babylon-tour, St. Louis '97 is a great version. Atlantic City is NOT clean-sounding (that's why it's so good). Yea you're right the guitars are not

QuoteChristiaan QuoteMathijs Because it is a pain in the ass. For all tours except for 1976 the promotor had to arrange a tuned piano for each gig -they didn't travel with a grand piano. Mic'ing it is a problem on those big stages nowadays as well. The Stones are on of the last big bands to even have amps on stage. These days its all about amps backstage with speakers in baffled cabi

I like it. It´s sort of a laidback version of the Brian Setzer Orchestra. So if you like it with a Little more pepper and chili try Guitar Slinger, The Dirty Boogie or Vavoom!

Dana Fuchs - Love Lives On. Her most soulful album so far. But there is also a graet diversity. And Jon Diamond is a very good guitar player.

Monday evening I experienced a wonderful 2 1/2 hours hot and sweaty blues rock set with Bernanrd Allison, Mike Zito and Vanja Sky. It´s really amazing how much you can get for EURO 25 including musicians who talk to you and give autographs after the show at the bar. This is was music is all about. So if you have the chance to see the Blues Caravan 2018 live on any stage, grab it and do not hesi

The miked amp sound and a line signal from the amps go to a guitar rack with effects, equalizers and so on. From there it goes to the onstage mixing console, where the stage monoitor/ in ear monitoring sound is mixed. The PA sound is mixed by another sound guy at the PA mixing desk, especially concerning delays and the synchronisation of the sound in the arena and the movig pictures on the big v

QuoteMathijs QuoteMathijs Just to be sure - The light mahagony bodied TELE with rosewood neck is a '68 Fender Rosewood Neck with a body made by Newman Jones. Keith used it on the 78 tour on Love in Vain, and in 1981 on Let's Spend and Waiting on a Friend. After the first couple of shows the guitar was send to Roger Giffin, then of Schecter guitars. Paul Rodgers is one of my alltime favourite singers. Saw him live in the seventies with Bad Company and several times as a solo Artist in the nineties. Jeff Beck is aone of my alltime favourite guitar players. And I think they will harmonize very well doing stuff from Free, Bad Co, the Jeff Beck Group, ...... And I can imagine Ann Wilson will fit in, too. Verry interesting package!
